Our ethos is one of being there to help our clients achieve their goals and to do so in a fun, supportive environment. B Well Fitness Club in Killarney is owned and operated by Killarney couple Edele Daly & Neilus Hayes. Edele previously operated a fitness studio in Killarney town centre for many years, but with the growth in the business and Neilus coming on board in 2019 they not only moved location to their current base, they also decided to go for a full rebranding of the business, and so B Well Fitness Club was born.
They opened their doors at B Well Fitness Club in Killarney in May 2019, and offer personal training, small group training, fitness classes and Open Gym 7 days per week. The team grew quickly with the addition of Peter McCarthy & Stefan McMahon to the B Well team within the first 12 months, and has continued to grow with the addition of team members Emmet Finnan, Michael Daly, Lauren Hughes & Natasha Poff, as well as our Yoga instructor Elaine O’ Neill. Our Team
Edele’s passion is teaching fun Group Exercise classes, that not only get results but leave everyone feeling energized & smiling.
She thrives on helping people on a one to one basis with Habit and lifestyle changes to get results. She believes there is no one quick fix for everyone and that each individual is unique and requires a different set of tools and coaching skills to achieve their goals.
She specializes on teaching Personal training clients on how their body should move and correctional exercise strategies for injuries prevention , rehabilitation and posture correction.
Edele is passionate about the “mind body connection” and takes a holistic approach to her teaching style. This isn’t to say she won’t give you a kick ass workout at the same time.
Neilus has always been involved in sports at junior & senior levels; soccer and basketball being his main sports. In later years he has developed a passion for teaching weight lifting to beginners and intermediate exercisers. Including strength & conditioning for sports including golf, football & cycling conditioning.
Neilus continues to study psychology & continues to grow as a positive mindset motivator.
Having played football at a high level up until 2018, Peter gained international recognition with the Republic of Ireland, played in the League Of Ireland with Limerick FC & scored plenty of goals for his beloved Killarney Celtic and Kerry Oscar Traynor team down throughout the years.
Talent and ability only goes so far and that’s where Peters love for fitness and getting any advantage where possible comes in through exercise and living a healthy lifestyle.
Peter offers a wealth of knowledge and thrives on helping his clients of all fitness levels setting goals, targets and achieving them with the help of his motivation and varied workouts.
Stefan has successfully helped countless clients regain mobility and confidence after injuries, enhancing their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation techniques. He believes that recovery is not just about healing physically, but also about fostering mental resilience and a positive mindset.
In addition to rehabilitative care, Stefan is passionate about strength training and its benefits for overall health. By utilizing evidence-based practices, he creates personalised training programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and endurance, while also considering any pre-existing medical conditions. Stefan works with clients to set achievable goals and motivates them to surpass their limits, ensuring a safe and effective path to wellness.
Stefan is an ITEC qualified sports therapist, holds fitness qualifications from Profi Fitness School in Personal Training and Gym Instruction, and is committed to ongoing education and professional development.
By blending knowledge, experience, and a compassionate approach, he strives to be a trusted partner in each client’s journey toward optimal health.

My academic background spans strength and conditioning, performance nutrition, exercise as medicine, and coaching science, providing a holistic approach to training. I’m passionate about evidence-based practice, ensuring that every program and session I design is grounded in the latest research and tailored to the unique needs of each client.
At B Well Fitness, I focus on running dynamic, results-driven sessions and providing expert guidance to help clients build strength, improve fitness, and achieve long-term health. I firmly believe in using exercise as a powerful tool to improve quality of life and enhance longevity, helping individuals thrive both physically and mentally.
Over the years, I’ve worked with numerous GAA teams, such as Kerry GAA development squads, as an S&C and athletic development coach, specializing in youth athlete development. I also work with many young athletes here at B Well, where I focus on fundamental movements, injury prevention, and technique work to coincide with the high volume of team training most young athletes are involved in.
I’m also pursuing an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2025 to further enhance my expertise in exercise medicine, underscoring my commitment to helping clients move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.
I hold a 1-Year Higher Certificate Qualification and will soon earn my Bachelor’s Degree. I am also First Aid Response Qualified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for those I work with.
I have a passion for fitness and love teaching and helping others achieve their goals.
Outside of fitness, I have a deep love for dance and am proud to be part of the UL Dance Team!
I also enjoy singing and listening to music, bringing creativity and energy to everything I do.
Having practiced yoga for over 20 years, I’m a firm believer that yoga is for everybody.
The benefits you receive from practicing yoga regularly, both mentally and physically, are endless.
I qualified in my Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 and since then have gained numerous qualifications, including:
